 Dr. Daniel Bishop, DPT, Cert. SMT

Physical Therapist


Physical Therapist Daniel Bishop is a sixth generation Baldwin County native. Daniel graduated from Fairhope High School in 1996. Following a traumatic car accident his junior year in high school, Daniel underwent a five level spinal fusion with complete recovery after eighteen months of physical rehabilitation. His struggle with chronic pain and a remarkable recovery sparked his interest in rehabilitation.

Daniel proceeded to play four years of college soccer & graduated with honors from The University of Memphis Lambuth, obtaining a bachelors degree in Pre-Medicine and Biology. Later he was accepted to The University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Physical Therapy School, earning a Masters degree in Physical Therapy in 2003.  Daniel continued his education through Regis University in Denver, Colorado and received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy with a specialization in spinal rehabilitation in 2006. Dr. Bishop has extensive training in spinal manipulation, dry needling, and sports rehab.

Over the past sixteen years, Dr. Bishop has traveled nationally, as well as internationally, to train under acupuncturists, chiropractors, osteopathic physicians, and physical therapists in an effort to develop a unique combination approach to therapy; an approach to help more people achieve their physical goals. Daniel has treated more than twelve thousand patients in Baldwin County with great success rates.

He considers himself a team player and will do all he can in order to eliminate musculoskeletal pain and musculoskeletal dysfunction in patients within our community. Dr. Bishop takes every patient’s outcome very personally and works long hours to help patients overcome their pain and dysfunction.

 Dr. Todd Kilpatrick, DPT,  Cert. DN, AIB- VR

Physical Therapist

 

Todd was born and raised in Monroeville,  Alabama where he attended Monroe Academy. During his time at Monroeville Academy, he played football, basketball, and baseball. He went on to join the football team at Mississippi State where he attended college for his first year. For the rest of his undergrad he attended the University of Alabama from which he graduated in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science in human performance and exercise . He then pursued the path of Physical Therapy, completing a doctorate at Alabama State University. Upon completion, he accepted a job at DCH Hospital in Tuscaloosa, AL running the Joint Replacement Floor. He also has experience in an outpatient setting specializing in post op care and nonsurgical physical therapy. Dr. Kilpatrick has spent the last 3 years training with Dr. Daniel Bishop at Bishop Physical Therapy. During this time he completed his certification in Dry Needling and Vestibular Rehabilitation. His post doctoral education also includes High Velocity Joint Manipulation with a focus on the spine.  

He married his wife, Mandy, in 2015. They welcomed a baby girl, Ezra, in the summer of 2019. Their family dog of 7 years is a German Shorthair Pointer named Timber- a sweet girl who they consider their first baby. Todd's hobbies include running, weight training, cross-fit, and kick-boxing . As a family, he and his girls enjoy weekend breakfast dates, being outside when the weather is nice, and watching movies.

Becky Simmons Parsons 

Physical Therapist Assistant


Becky earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Bishop State Community College in 2009. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of South Alabama and was the owner of the Mobile Equestrian Center for 32 years. Becky joined the Bishop Physical Therapy team in August 2018. 

She developed her physical therapy skills in Mobile with a specialty in correcting TMJ dysfunction. She has strong manual skills and is experienced in treating headaches, neck and back pain as well as orthopedic rehabilitation pre/post op. She is certified in Adult Incontinence and Pelvic Floor Health/Rehabilitation. When not at work, Becky enjoys spending time with her family, dogs, and horses.
